We will construct a drainage system around the lower basement area. The system will be constructed in 2 legs, starting on either side of the basement entry stairs, and discharging into a sump located on the right side of the house, (3 sides of this system will be constructed in the sub-area). The depth of the system will be lower than the basement slab. We will seal the foundation/retaining walls with 2 coats of asphalt emulsion and yellow jacket fiberglass mesh. We will extend a second leg of the system back along the right side of the house and new addition, and along the rear of the addition. We will connect all the downspouts along the front of the house and right side into a 4 inch solid pipe that will run directly to the street. The water from the sump will be pumped into this pipe.
