On the garage we will do the following work:

1.      Slope trenches and lay 140 lineal feet of 4 inch perforated pipe in previously excavated areas surrounding new foundation walls. The pipe to tie into new discharge pipe installed by Alderson Construction.

2.      Waterproof 1400 square feet of new foundation/retaining walls with 2 coats of Henry’s Emulsion, yellow jacket fiber, and Warm and Dry protection board.

3.      Backfill around new foundation/retaining walls with 110 cubic yards of ½ crushed rock.

4.      Install 3 perforated pipes beneath slab area to be connected to the above mentioned perimeter drain.

5.      Install sub-base and 10 mil moisture barrier beneath 1100 square feet of new slab floor.

On the new sauna we will do the following work:

1. Slope trenches and lay 80 lineal feet of 4 inch perforated pipe in previously excavated areas surrounding new foundation/retaining walls. The pipe to connect to the existing 6 inch discharge pipe.

2. Waterproof 640 square feet of new foundation/retaining walls as described above.

3. Backfill around new retaining walls with 50 cubic yards of crushed rock.

4. Install sub-base and 10 mil moisture barrier beneath 375 square feet of new slab floor.

All quantities to be verified in the field after foundations are cast.
