Scope of Work
In the sub-area of your home beneath the center wall adjacent the living room, we will do the following work:
1. Construct 5 new center support piers in approximately the same locations as the existing. The new piers will be 18 inches square and 18 inches deep and will have 1 4×4 wet posts anchor set into each.
2. After the existing sheetmetal duct is removed by others, splice a new section of 4×6 beam where the old one had been cut out.
3. Level the floors over the new piers as much as we can and install new 4×4 posts.
Contractor will discuss with owner the possibility of connecting to the existing concrete beam after it is excavated for inspection.
