We will re-plumb, and replace as necessary all the posts in the sub-area. This work will not prevent future movement. No adjustments to the floors above are included. We will dowell into the 4 existing pier caps closest the downslope end of the sub-area, and cast a new oversized concrete cap with a new pressure treated block. We will epoxy-set new pressure treated blocks as necessary on the remaining piers. Some minor interior cracking may occur during the temporary support process. Because of the unstable soil conditions and seismic activity prevalent, it is impossible to predict future performance of the foundation, supporting soils of the structure or stability of the surrounding land.
