Ward Construction provides services in the greater San Francisco Bay Area including, Oakland, Berkeley, Richmond, San Francisco, Walnut Creek, Lafayette, Orinda, Moraga, Hayward, Marin and other East Bay and North Bay cities.
Here’s an example of the type of services provided:
we will remove and replace the front concrete porch. We will construct 4 new grade beams connecting the existing brick columns back to the existing front foundation. The porch and grade beams will be poured together at the same time.
All permits to be obtained by Construction.
We will replace all the concrete removed with concrete to match the existing as close as we can, but it will still be noticeably different. It is impossible for the new concrete to exactly match the old.
No cosmetic or landscaping repair is included.
It must be thoroughly understood that the work described in this contract should not be construed to be any type of long-term guarantee of insurance against future settlement problems that may occur at the site. We feel that these improvements will greatly reduce the risks of future settlement, but any risk that still remains must be borne by the owners of the building.
Because of the unstable soil conditions and seismic activity prevalent in the San Francisco Bay Area, it is impossible to predict future performance of the foundation, supporting soils of the structure or stability of the surrounding land.
