Here\’s an example of the type of services provided:
In an effort to lower the ridge in the upstairs floor, we will remove the drywall/plaster along the bottom of the downstairs wall that is directly below the ridge, cut the bottom of the stud wall, allow the upstairs floor to drop, and re-secure the wall when we are through. We will install temporary support to the perpendicular beam, and remove and shorten the existing support post as necessary. It is impossible to predict how successful this endeavor will be.
Not included in this bid: mechanically lowering the upstairs floor, re-plastering or drywall repair, any plumbing or electrical work, any work on the bathroom side of the lower wall.
During the leveling process, new cracks and problems may develop. This price does not include any of the following work, whether the damage occurred before, during or after the leveling:
Foundation repair or additional foundation work.
Concrete work or concrete slabs.
Framing or framing repair.
Tile, masonry, brick work or fireplace repair.
Window repair or replacement.
Gutter or roof repair.
Unexpected plumbing, gas, water, sewer, heating ducts or sprinkler repair, relocation or adjustment; electrical, T.V. or phone.
Cosmetic work; stucco repair; siding repair; door replacement, repair or weatherstripping; termite or rot repair, trees, lawns or landscape repair.
After leveling, we can provide an estimate for any of the above work.
