To correct drainage problem, we will dowel into the existing retaining wall located adjacent to the right rear corner of the building and form and pour a new 18 feet long concrete footing (which will also serve to support the existing garbage can slab). This work will create a step in the rear walk, which will also serve as a dam for water coming down the walk from the left end of the building. We will install a short section of channel drain into the walk next to the new step to drain it which will connect to the existing drain previously installed. We will also install a sub-drain behind the portion of rear retaining wall receiving the new footing. This drain could be extended behind the remainder of the rear wall in the future if necessary.
