Drain repair and drainage repair may involve installation of French drain or French drains, and sometimes it is necessary to install sub drains, and a catch basin and sump pump to divert water from low areas under a home.   Rain water and storm water should run off the roof through gutters and downspouts, onto concrete tile or through grates then into the French drain, through piping and find it’s way to appropriate storm drains.

Actual drainage job completed in Albany:

Here is one of many examples of a drainage construction project we completed on San Carlos in Albany:

We will construct a drainage system along the right, rear, and left sides of the residence. The depth of the system will be below the level of the slab floor. The system will discharge into a sump located at the rear from where the water will be pumped to the street. We will connect the downspout at the front of the house into a 4 inch solid pipe and run it directly to the street. We will remove and replace a strip of concrete along the right and left sides, a portion of the rear, and across the public walk. The right side portion of the drain will be constructed on your neighbor’s property, and advance permission will be needed for this.
