I live in a duplex with a front porch that was built in 1929 in Oakland. The porch and the foundation underneath it started to fail and had to be replaced. After a civil engineer completed plans, we hunted for a good local construction company that does foundation work. Ward Construction was highly recommended by several people. We were very pleased with the quality of the work and the excellent communication on scheduling and the process. We were told exactly what they were doing, and they did good work in a timely way. We needed a railing, and they built one that fits our house. We also wanted to meet city codes which it did. I am happy to recommend Ward Construction.
