Here\’s an example of the type of services provided:
We will install approximately 15 lineal feet of ½ plywood panel covering the existing cripple walls in the furnace area, and approximately 24 lineal feet in the right front sub-area. The new plywood will be blocked as necessary and nailed every 3 inches on the perimeter and 6 inches in the field. No other seismic work is included.
The bracing described above will increase the stability of the structure and particularly the area where the bracing is installed. Additional bracing to that described above can be done for an additional cost. To obtain recommendations for additional bracing or to check the adequacy of the work described above, we recommend you consult with a structural engineer. There is absolutely no guarantee or warranty, written or implied, connected with this work. The structure will not be “earthquake proof” as a result of this work.
