Just a quick note of thanks for all your work on my Alameda Victorian home, repairing and re-leveling the foundation and performing a seismic retrofit.
Only Ward Construction conducted a floor-level survey to measure and understand my foundation issue. When I was first bidding this work, all the contractors I spoke to said they could shore up my foundation and arrest the subsidence with piers. But when I came to re-leveling the house, a few insisted it couldn’t be done and only Ward Construction offered to do it.
You and Rick Arden were always responsive, patient with my questions and candid in your advice. You were always clear about cost, scope changes and what steps you intended to take next. There were no surprises. The Ward Construction crew was always punctual and Foreman Victor seemed to treat our house as though it was his own.

A successful fast track projectHi Art, Iris and I are very pleased with your company’s work on our foundation at 1187 Keeler Ave. We have looked carefully at all parts of it that are visible, and it looks excellent. I have been very impressed by the hard work, skill, and professionalism of your crew: Rafael, Jose, Elias, and others that joined them. They are all friendly, courteous, and easy to get along with. I happened to speak with one of the concrete truck drivers during one of the pours. He said that your outfit was the best in the whole East Bay, and everyone knows it.
